From Helsinki (250km)

Follow the signs of the highway E 75 (to Lahti). After Lahti continue on the same higway, but after Heinola pay attention to the sign indicating Jyväskylä. You will have to turn according to the Jyväskylä sign (always following the E 75) and not to continue towards Mikkeli! In Viisarinmäki, leave the E 75 by turning towards Toivakka (road number 618). Drive through the center of Toivakka and continue two more kilometers towards Lievestuore. Turn then to the left following the sign of Leppälahti (road 6181). Follow the Leppälahti road about 7 kilometers and turn to the left by the Peiponsalmi-sign. Drive along the road Peiponsalmi until the sign of Heiskantie and turn to the right. Drive along the Heiskantie road 1 kilometer, then, in a Y-shaped crossing turn to the right. This little road will lead you directly to The Heiska Farm. You will see a red and white house of wood and bricks, a barn of stone, a big red log house (main building) and smaller log cabins (granarys).
 

From Jyväskylä (25km)

Follow tho highway E63 (towards Kuopio) until Vaajakoski, where, in the Kanavuori traffic circle take the road number 9 towards Kuopio. In Leppälahti you will cross a long bridge (a bank) and see then a loghouse (a cafe) on your right side by the lake. After this cafe turn to your right following the sign of Toivakka (road 6181). Drive about 12 kilometers until you will turn to the right following the sign PEIPONSALMI 3. Drive along the Peiponsalmi road 2 kilometers, then turn to the right by the sign Heiskantie. Drive along the Heiskantie road 1 kilometer, then, in a Y-shaped crossing turn to the right. This little road will lead you directly to The Heiska Farm. From Kuopio (150km)
